The recipes are not traditional, authentic recipes, as they have been adapted to use ingredients that are easy to get hold of and to keep the cost down. 


We chose a mix of recipes that cover a range of cooking skills, including simple and more complicated recipes, hot and cold dishes, ingredients from different food groups, using ingredients that are in season at different times of year and including some vegetarian recipes. In some of the countries more than one language is spoken and in these cases we have chosen the most commonly spoken language.
