In applying for funding to set up a club, the headteacher must agree to the following:
- The Club will follow the Let's Get Cooking guidelines and reporting requirements.
- The club will focus on cooking-related activities and promoting cookery skills with children, their families and the community, most of which will happen out of normal school hours.
- The club must cook ‘good food that is good for you’ from basic ingredients, and will mainly use recipes provided by Let's Get Cooking.
- The headteacher will be responsible for health and safety, Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks (as required), and financial management.
- All funding received will only be used for Let’s Get Cooking club activities.
- Each year the club will provide Let's Get Cooking with a brief, online report detailing how the grant has been used.
- The school agrees to return all funding to Let's Get Cooking, if false information is provided.
