Each Let’s Get Cooking club has a leadership team. This comprises:
- a Club Coordinator, who organises cooking activities with club members (adults and children), their families and the wider community
- at least one or two more adults, who act as cooking demonstrators or helpers.
Each club should have the support of its headteacher who must sign the Let's Get Cooking agreement and make sure the club follows the guidelines. The headteacher ensures that the club complies with the school’s health and safety policy, code of behaviour, police clearance procedures, insurance and finance policies.
Adult and pupil club members are encouraged to take on special roles and play a key part in decision-making. Up to six adults and children attend a local Start-Up Day for inspiration and practical ideas (new clubs only).
