Prince’s Trust clubs on Ready Steady Cook

Pupils from The Grange School in Runcorn and Swindon Academy made a guest appearance on BBC Two's Ready Steady Cook programme. The Prince’s Trust xl club students entered a competition to develop a healthy recipe. The entrants were judged by the show's host, Ainsley Harriot, with the winning schools invited to join the celebrity chef at the Ready Steady Cook studios.

The winning recipe was devised by The Grange’s Darren Jones, who presented the bag of ingredients to Ainsley ready for him to prepare something with. Prince’s Trust ambassador, Helen Lederer, was in the studios to lend her support to the pupils.

The Prince's Trust are one of the Let's Get Cooking partners.  Their 'Healthy Eating Through xl' programme delivers practical cooking skills and healthy eating information to 14-16 year olds.
