Let’s Get Cooking today welcomes the link to cooking skills highlighted in the Government’s report in the future of food and farming (DEFRA Food 2030, released on 5 January 2010).

Director of Let's Get Cooking, David Edwards said, “Let's Get Cooking is delighted to be highlighted in the Government’s plans for the future of food production in the UK. It is clear that in order to encourage people to eat a healthy, balanced diet, they must first know how to prepare and cook simple, family meals.  Let's Get Cooking is proving very successful in this aim, as our evaluation has shown that over half our participants are eating a healthier diet, following their involvement with their school’s Let's Get Cooking club.”
