Our mission statement
‘We believe cooking is a core life skill and our aim is to give everyone the opportunity to learn to cook and enjoy good food.’
About Let's Get Cooking
Let's Get Cooking is a national network of school-based cooking clubs for children, parents and the wider community, led by the School Food Trust and supported by a £20 million grant from the Big Lottery Fund.
We also deliver cooking programmes, training and resources for other partners including Change4Life, London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organising Committee, Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, the Best Practice Network, Sheffield Let's Change4Life and Tewkesbury Healthy Towns.
We work in various settings including primary, secondary and special schools, Pupil Referral Units, Children’s Centres and charities, reaching audiences such as children, young people, parents, teenage parents, foster carers, Higher Level Teaching Assistants and many more.
